In previous versions of Windows 10, Windows Security is called Windows Defender Security Center. If you have another antivirus app installed and turned on, Windows Security will turn off automatically.

I have upgraded 5 computers so far from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Windows security is missing, this should have been fixed in at least a newer Microsoft Windows update. Microsoft needs to get off their lazy **** and learn how to properly unit test. After Windows 11 upgrade the new Windows Security is introduced yet not installed.

As long as you have a user profile that has a password, Windows will ask you for it. If you are trying to view your passwords in chrome, and you have a lot of them. I would suggest exporting these passwords to a CSV, that way you'd be able to view them all at once.

1- Windows Security and Microsoft Defender are separate products. 2- Neither one includes McAfee or any other third-party application. 3- Although on any given day, antivirus"A" may be better than antivirus"B" in independent testing, on average, most antivirus applications are equally effective at what they do.
